Take Command
A part of leading frontend development for the #1 HRA administration platform
At Take Command, I’ve been a key driver of frontend architecture and product experience for the HRA Hub — our flagship platform for administering ICHRAs and QSEHRAs. My work spans three core products:
A healthcare plan shopping tool that helps employees find personalized coverage based on providers, prescriptions, and location
An employer-facing dashboard for managing reimbursements, compliance, and plan onboarding
An employee portal for submitting claims and tracking benefits
I’ve led major initiatives to modernize our frontend stack using React, TypeScript, Vite, MUI, and Domain-Driven Design, with a focus on scalable patterns, component reusability, and system-wide UX consistency.
Highlights:
Spearheaded implementation of a shared DataGrid framework powering 9+ dashboards with filter persistence, CSV export, and custom toolbars
Developed a reusable filter drawer and URL-synced state logic to unify search and filtering across views
Built interactive form components (e.g., ATM-style currency inputs, date range selectors) that simplified complex insurance logic
Advocated for and shaped frontend governance through design system contributions, discovery sessions, and architecture reviews
Collaborated closely with backend, product, and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment between engineering constraints and business needs
This work supports thousands of employers and employees across the country, helping them manage their healthcare benefits with clarity and confidence.
